Prayer walking around a particular site or neighborhood can be a very effective form of intercessory prayer. Usually done in pairs, the team offers prayers to God to protect the people in buildings and bless families in homes. No contact with the tenants is needed. The intercessors follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit offering rote and spontaneous prayers, asking God to bring those living there closer to Jesus.
